Understanding the diversity of your students — and finding ways to support their unique needs — is the foundation for building a positive learning environment where all students can thrive. To this end, the more you can learn about autism and how to accommodate your autistic students, the more they’ll be able to prosper in your class.

While there’s no one-size-fits all approach for teaching any individual student or group of students, finding a wide variety of classroom resources to support autistic students can help you better accommodate neurodiverse students and ultimately build more inclusive classrooms. Here are activities you can use as a starting point to support the autistic students in your class.
